bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do?
ever watch those shows with the cops chasing criminals and they ditch the car and try and run from the cops. rarely do they get very far. sometimes, while hashing in and around houston i think, "now this would be a good place to ditch the car, run through those woods, into that tunnel, across that abandoned bridge and then......"
i know that we cannot outrun the radios and may not be able to hide from the helicopters, but if you bail before the call the helo, you might have a chance.
has anyone else thought about this?
where would you bail and run, if you had to?

Every time I see a cop I wonder if I could outrun him. Austin (and Colo Springs as I'm finding out) cops tend to be pathetically out of shape and if you can make it 100 feet or so before being caught you'd probably get away.
i'd probably just get shot... but the area around the addicks reservior (hwy 6/westheimer) is pretty cool with lots of trails.
also the memorial park area would be a good trail to run to get away from the cops.
